BRACKET HURT

I apologize for my 0-4 ATS performance on Thursday night. I thought the UCONN scandal would keep Purdue within 7 last night. Pittsburgh evidentely doesn't like to play basketball until there is 2 minutes left in the game, which is why they didn't cover the 7. Duke played their worst NCAA Tournament Game of all time and didn't cover the 2. Finally, Memphis was just blasted as favorites against Missouri.

OVERALL STRAIGHT UP IN TOURNY (GAMES BASED ON MY BRACKET) 1-2 last night, 29-13 overall in tourny.

OVERALL AGAINST THE SPREAD IN TOURNY- 0-4 last night, 26-24-2 overall in tourny.

Give Villanova and Missouri credit, they can have something to say about who cuts down the nets. Memphis at least had the heart to make a run late in the game to make the outcome respectable against Missouri. Duke on the other hand, was terrible. As soon as the 2nd half began, you knew the game was over. I talked to Austin Dufault, a Colorado starter at the end of the regular season and he told me on this blog that Missouri was the best team he played against. That includes the likes of both Oklahoma and Kansas. I should have listened to him.

The NCAA Tournament has again baffled me. I have never watched more college hoops than I have this year, and my bracket looks like a spider web. I have one team left in the Midwest, which is Louisville, I had them losing to Memphis in the Final 4. I have UCONN left in West, but I don't have them winning another game. In the East I only have Pittsburgh left, but I do have them winning it all, I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Finally in the South, I have Gonzaga and Syracuse left with the Orange winning that region.

The bracket is hurt but not dead. I need this to happen tonight:

1)Michigan St. has to lose to Kansas
2)Louisville needs to lose at any point prior to the title game.
3)Gonzaga has to beat North Carolina
4)Syracuse has to beat Oklahoma

This is just for me to basically stay alive in my pool. Am I asking too much? I am, but it is the tournament and it can happen.

PICKS-0-4 last night. 103-70-3 overall ATS

Arizona +9 Louisville
Kansas + 1 1/2 Michigan St.
Gonzaga + 8 1/2 North Carolina
Syracuse +1 Oklahoma

NBA

Denver +4 1/2 @Dallas-If Denver doesn't get this win, their win Wednesday in New Orleans means nothing.
