NCCA BRACKET UPDATE

THURSDAY'S RESULTS-I began the day with 7 in a row and all was good. CBS took a break from their coverage for a brief period of time and when they got back things began to turn a little south. Mississippi St. did not come to play and were blown up by Washington. I thought that would be a much closer contest with Mississippi St. coming up on top. Clemson just baffled me and it could screw up my bracket. I thought they would get by Michigan and beat Oklahoma. Michigan got it done and the Wolverines will be a much easier match-up in round 2 for the Sooners. Clemson should be disapointed in themselves, they could have made a nice little run. I thought that I would give Illinois the benefit of the doubt who took on Western Kentucky, however not the same Western Kentucky team that won a few games in last year's tournament. The result, Illinois showed up too late and got beat. I went back and forth on that game but in the end I made my worst pick of the day taking Illinois. My other miss was VCU over UCLA. The Rams hung tough, but in the end UCLA showed that they should not be picked against in round 1 of the tourny.

BY THE NUMBERS

-RECORD STRAIGHT UP-12-4 (I still have 15/16 Sweet 16 teams left)

-RECORD VS. THE SPREAD-9-6-1

-OVERALL RECORD VS. THE SPREAD NOW 81-50-2

I have a heads-up match going on with a buddy. Dude dropped 14 winners today out of 16 games and he still has all Sweet 16 teams left. A-Hole.
