FRIDAY-It wasn't a good morning to say the least. I dropped 3 games out of the 8 played. First my cinderella pick, North Dakota State went down to Kansas. The Bison were competitive and very well could have pulled that one out. I think we can now officially say that the Kansas first round curse is over. Utah St. fell by one point to Marquette. I only picked Utah St. because they were overlooked and Marquette entered the tournament without perhaps its' best player in Dominique James. The other game I lost really hurt in West Virginia. I knew Dayton had a chance, but I decided to pick West Virgina based on history and coaching. West Virginia had the better coach in Bob Huggins and had went to the Sweet 16 the previous 4 seasons. Based on the bracket set-up, I had West Virginia going to the Elite 8....ouch. The night session started OK, I hit 3 out of the first 4. Boston College made things hard on me in the Midwest Bracket. In the lower part of the Midwest, I have now lost both Sweet 16 teams and the Elite 8 team. USC wouldn't have made the tournament without winning the Pac-10 tourny and I thought Boston College was the better team, my bad. The last part of the night session was OK. I hit my #2 cinderella pick as Cleveland St. smoked Wake Forest. Michigan St. took care of business as expected, however they looked a bit sluggish. I had Florida St. going to the Sweet 16 and they just collapsed down the stretch against Wisconsin in OT. The Badger win should have not happend, this team will get rocked in round 2. Finally Sienna beats Ohio St. in double OT. How? 2 miracle 3-point shots. Ohio St. was in Ohio and got beat by Sienna, they suck. Here's to a good Saturday! I will update this weekend unlike previous weekends, but I will focus just on the NCAA unless something huge happens.

I did not have a good first round straight up, I did against the spread. The good news is I still have 12/16 Sweet 16 teams, 7/8 Elite 8 teams, and all Final 4 teams.
